How does this site work

Summary

On average we have around 230 social media 'friends', with people we know from work, school, clubs and our community, that adds up to around 450 people. Because we know these people we can decide how much to trust them. Each of those people will also have their own network of friends, which they can vouch for (or not). Your personal community of friends, and friends of friends could readily exceed 50,000 people. But even with just a few thousand contacts, each of whom have left a few reviews, you will have access thousands of reliable reviews and recommendations. This would not only save us from wasting money on poor services and products, but the recommendations also opens doors to a better and more enriched life.

Site Developer and Writer - John Filer

I was raised in a small village in North Wiltshire, where everyone knew everyone else, and where the community would get together at various annual events and fetes and share friendship and experience. I now live in the village of Pill in North Somerset, which has an extraordinarly active community life which has many clubs and organisations, and hosts more annual events than nearby towns.

People are happy when they work together and help each other out, We only pass this way once so let make it the most enjoyable we can. I hope you enjoy this site.

We gain experience by two methods, the first is personal experience (which normally comes at a cost), and the other is finding out other people's experience (which generally does not). With years of experience of unreliable reviews leaving me frustrated, and with the time and skills available I realised that like most people I have a large network of people that I know. Many of who visit the same places I go to and also buy the same things as I do. So why not tap into their experience and save myself time and money. Which local restaurants or garages provide excellent service, and which are below expectation, people local to me who I know are those who would know.

'We are in this together!'
